| Detailed Description | * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues as a line of heavy rain associated with a frontal passage moves to the south. * WHERE. A portion of south central Texas, including the following counties, Bastrop, Blanco, Lee and Travis. * WHEN. Until 1045 AM CDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 915 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Austin, Buda, Bastrop, Giddings, Smithville, Blanco, Round Mountain, Austin Bergstrom Int Airport, Tanglewood Forest, Lakeway, Bee Cave, West Lake Hills, The Hills, Johnson City, Rollingwood, Mustang Ridge, Niederwald, Bear Creek, Onion Creek and Shady Hollow. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood |
