Susitna Valley. * WHEN. From 10 AM Monday to 1 AM AKDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. A complex storm system will bring precipitation and warmer air to the Susitna Valley late Monday morning through early Tuesday morning. Precipitation is expected to begin as all snow; however, southerly winds will bring warmer air from south to north across the valley through Monday night. Colder air near the surface will linger from north of Willow to Talkeetna, potentially resulting in a period of freezing rain before a changeover to all rain. For Broad Pass, freezing rain may mix with the snow at times. The highest snow amounts will be in Broad Pass. The mixed precipitation will taper off early Tuesday morning.
