| Detailed Description | 3:10 PM EDT Thursday 5 September 2024 Rainfall Warning in effect for: Maniwaki - Gracefield area Rain at times heavy is expected late in the day Friday. A total rainfall amount of about 50 mm is expected with the passage of a system over the Great Lakes, which will slow down as it moves into Western Quebec. The rain will taper off Saturday morning in the Outaouais region, and late in the day in the réservoir Gouin, Parent and Wemotaci regions. Avoid travelling on flooded roads. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
