1:27 PM ADT Friday 5 July 2024 Severe Thunderstorm Warning in effect for: Woodstock and Carleton County At 1:27 PM ADT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain. This severe thunderstorm is crossing the American border near Tracey-Mills and is moving east at 40 km/h. Communities in the path include Centreville. Intense lightning is likely with any thunderstorm that develops. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
