* WHAT. Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE. A portion of southeast South Carolina, including the following areas, Charleston, Coastal Colleton, Dorchester, Inland Berkeley, Inland Colleton and Tidal Berkeley. * WHEN. Until midnight EDT tonight. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Another round of showers and thunderstorms is possible this afternoon into this evening producing rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches, some localized amounts of 3 to 4 inches possible. In the wake of Debby's rainfall last week, this additional rainfall could produce flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood |
