Brief Description Rainfall Warning
Detailed Description A prolonged period of rain with rising freezing levels will continue. What: Total rainfall amounts 75 to 120 mm. When: Now through Monday. Where: Metro Vancouver - northern and southeastern sections, Fraser Valley - Abbotsford to Hope, Howe Sound, and Sunshine Coast near Gibsons. Remarks: Rain, at times heavy, will change to periods of moderate rain tonight and persist through Monday. Total rainfall amounts will vary with location. The highest amounts will be near the coastal mountains, from the North Shore through the Coquitlam region as well as near Port Mellon. By Monday night between 80 to 120mm can be expected. The remaining regions can expect 75 to 100mm. ### Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
