| Detailed Description | 3:55 PM ADT Sunday 28 July 2024 Heat Warning in effect for: Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick Humidex values are expected to be over 36 again on Monday. A period of very warm and humid weather is occurring. Time span: today through Monday. Minimum temperature tonight: 18 degrees Celsius. Maximum temperature Monday: 28 to 30 degrees Celsius (Humidex 36 to 38). Locations: eastern New Brunswick Remarks: Cooler conditions can be expected along parts of the coast. Watch for the effects of heat illness: swelling, rash, cramps, fainting, heat exhaustion, heat stroke and the worsening of some health conditions. Drink plenty of water regularly, even before you feel thirsty to decrease your risk of dehydration. Thirst is not a good indicator of dehydration. Never leave people, particularly children, or pets inside a parked vehicle. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
