Portions of east central Georgia, including the following county, Richmond and central South Carolina, including the following counties, Aiken, Barnwell, Edgefield, Lexington and Orangeburg. * WHEN. Until 830 PM EST. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 524 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Aiken, North Augusta, Aiken Mall, Savannah River Site, Clearwater, Belvedere, Augusta, Williston, Blackville, New Ellenton, Jackson, Aiken State Park, Citizens Park, Aiken Municipal Airport, USC Aiken, Gloverville, Graniteville, Augusta Regional Airport and Midtown. - This includes the following highways. Interstate 520 in South Carolina between mile markers 16 and 23. Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 0 and 22. Interstate 20 in Georgia between mile markers 196 and 201.
