* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. Berkeley, Charleston, Colleton and Dorchester Counties. * WHEN. Until 1245 PM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to remain above flood stage from this week's heavy rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 638 AM EDT, Flooding continues along several creeks and streams across portions of Dorchester and Berkeley Counties. Flooding is ongoing across Jedburg, Ridgeville, Moncks Corner, Huger, and Bonneau areas. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast to develop across the warned area this afternoon into the early evening. Storm coverage is expected primarily across Berkeley and Dorchester Counties. These storms could result in an additional 0.5 to 1.5 inches of rainfall. This rainfall may lead to new flooding rapidly. - Water levels along French Quarter Creek near Huger in Berkeley County remain above flood stage and a number of homes are flooded along the creek. This includes areas along French Quarter Creek Road. Water levels at Ireland Creek at Walterboro are just below the moderate flood stage. Water will continue to impact some businesses and home along Ivanhoe Road between Forest Hills Road and Lands End Road. Water levels along the Ashley River are slowly rising and may begin to flood nearby neighborhoods including the Ashborough neighborhood.
