| Detailed Description | 4:28 AM MDT Saturday 27 July 2024 Rainfall Warning in effect for: Tuktoyaktuk - East Channel Region Heavy rainfall is expected this weekend. Rainfall will intensify today and continue through to Monday morning. Total amounts of 25 to 40 mm are expected by Monday morning. The frozen ground has a reduced ability to absorb this rainfall. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
