| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana. White River Eel River at Bowling Green. .Significant and some major flooding is expected to develop along the White River due to prior rains and additional rounds of heavy rainfall through Sunday. Additional rainfall of three to five inches in the White River basin is expected today through Sunday morning. The crest is expected to be in the Indianapolis area late Sunday night into Monday morning and points downstream thereafter. * WHAT. Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE. White River below Eagle Valley Power Plant. * WHEN. Until Friday, April 11. * IMPACTS. At 607.0 feet, Extensive flooding of agricultural lands. Blue Bluff and Paragon Roads are impassable. Flood waters affect a few homes in Waverly. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - There is no current observed data. - Forecast. The river will rise to 602.9 feet this evening and to 608.2 feet Sunday evening. It will then fall below flood stage Friday, April 11. - Flood stage is 603.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood |
