| Detailed Description | 9:07 PM CDT Monday 29 July 2024 Fog Advisory in effect for: Rankin Region including Whale Cove Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring. Onshore winds are causing dense fog along the southern coast of Kivalliq this evening. Improvement is expected on Tuesday as winds shift to westerly. Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. Fog advisories are issued when near zero visibilities in fog are expected or occurring. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
