| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in North Carolina. Cape Fear River At William O Huske Lock And Dam 3 affecting Cumberland and Bladen Counties. Lumber River Near Lumberton affecting Robeson County. . The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in South Carolina. Little Pee Dee River At Galivants Ferry affecting Horry and Marion Counties. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Little Pee Dee River at Galivants Ferry. * WHEN. From Sunday morning to early Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 9.0 feet, flood waters will affect residential yards in the Fork Retch community upstream of Galivants Ferry near the town of Nichols. Swampland and natural boat landings will be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:00 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 8.9 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.0 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - weather.gov/safety/flood |
