Detailed Description The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in North Carolina. Northeast Cape Fear River Near Burgaw affecting Pender County. Waccamaw River near Freeland affecting Columbus and Brunswick Counties. . The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in South Carolina. North Carolina. Great Pee Dee River At Pee Dee affecting Florence and Marion Counties. Lumber River 1 SE Nichols affecting Dillon, Horry and Marion Counties. Lumber River Near Lumberton affecting Robeson County. Little Pee Dee River At Galivants Ferry affecting Horry and Marion Counties. Waccamaw River near Longs affecting Columbus, Horry and Brunswick Counties. Waccamaw River At Conway affecting Horry County. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Waccamaw River near Longs. * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 14.0 feet, Homes isolated at the ends of Big Gutter LN, Doodle Hill LN, and along Lure CT. Red Bluff RD may be impassable. Yards along HWY 905 may begin to flood between Council Bluff RD and Parker RD. The end of Vera LN is isolated by flood waters. Areas near the end of Star Bluff RD begin to flood. Areas along Waccamaw LN near Loop CIR begin to flood. Parts of Canipe CIR will flood. Low areas along HWY 9 will flood. In NC,River RD in Pireway will flood. Low areas between the river and Ash-Little River will flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:00 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 14.1 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall to 12.2 feet Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
