| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Idaho. Blackfoot River near Blackfoot (Butte Rd-Ft Hall) affecting Bingham County. .Snow melt and increased reservoir releases will cause the river flows to become high. Expect minor flooding downstream from the dam. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE. Blackfoot River near Blackfoot (Butte Rd-Ft Hall). * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 5.8 feet, Lowland flooding possible from Interstate 15 to confluence of the Snake River. Homes and cattle operation near Riverton Road (900 W) bridge just north of Ferry Butte Road (500 S) will start to have water seeping near them. Other locations will have water approaching roadways between 550 W and Blackhawk Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1:30 PM MDT Thursday the stage was 6.3 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 1:30 PM MDT Thursday was 6.3 feet. - Forecast. No forecast is available for this location. - Flood stage is 5.8 feet. - Flood History.
