Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. Wichita River at Wichita Falls. * WHEN. Until early Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 17.0 feet, Near bankfull levels occur along the river in Wichita and Clay counties. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 12:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 4.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet. - Forecast. The Wichita River is expected to rise to a crest of 17.0 feet early Tuesday afternoon. - Action stage is 16.0 feet. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood |
