| Detailed Description |
FFWSHV The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for. Southern De Soto Parish in northwestern Louisiana. Northwestern Natchitoches Parish in northwestern Louisiana. Red River Parish in northwestern Louisiana. * Until 800 PM CDT. * At 506 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD. Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE. Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT. Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include. Mansfield, Coushatta, Logansport, Campti, Martin, Goldonna, South Mansfield, Ashland, Grand Cane, Edgefield, Powhatan, Stanley, Evelyn, Rambin, Armistead, Grand Bayou, Hanna, Crichton, Ajax and Lake End. |
