Brief Description Flood Warning
Detailed Description * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. A portion of southeast Ohio, including the following county, Athens. * WHEN. Until 800 AM EDT. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 410 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Athens, Nelsonville, Glouster, Albany, Chauncey, Buchtel, Jacksonville, Trimble, The Plains and Stroud Run State Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
