Brief Description SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT
Detailed Description 9:01 PM EDT Monday 26 August 2024 Special Weather Statement in effect for: Dorval Lodge area Significant rainfall amounts possible on Tuesday. Total rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 mm are generally expected. However, the thunderstorms accompanying the rain could raise the amounts to more than 50 millimetres over Western Quebec. Timing: from Tuesday afternoon to early Wednesday morning. Rain could also increase the flow and level of some streams and rivers. Moreover, significant ponding of water is possible on roads and inland. Please note that this special weather statement may be upgraded to a rainfall warning or a severe thunderstorm watch as conditions change.
