Detailed Description The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Delaware. White Clay Creek Near Newark affecting New Castle County. For the White Clay Creek. including Newark. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. White Clay Creek near Newark. * WHEN. Until tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS. At 11.0 feet, Flooding begins into adjacent open fields. At 13.3 feet, Delaware Route 7, Stanton Christiana Road, begins to flood. At 13.5 feet, Businesses on Delaware Route 7 begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 11:15 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 11.3 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 13.6 feet. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet. - Flood History.
