Maximum gusts: southwesterly 80 km/h, except 100 along parts of the coast. Locations: part of the west coast of Newfoundland. Time span: early this evening. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
