4:59 AM PDT Wednesday 24 April 2024 Snowfall Warning in effect for: Muncho Lake Park - Stone Mountain Park Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm is expected. Where: Mainly east of Summit Lake along the Alaska Highway. When: Late this afternoon to Thursday morning. Remarks: Precipitation associated with a low pressure system is forecast to begin this afternoon as mixed rain and snow, then change over to snow early this evening. Snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected, with higher amounts possibly up to 20 cm over eastern sections. Snow will taper off Thursday morning as the system departs. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
