Brief Description Special Weather Statement
Detailed Description A strong Bering Sea low will move into the Gulf of Alaska over the weekend producing strong northerly winds gusting to near 60 mph across St Lawrence Island, the Bering Strait, Interior Seward Peninsula, and the Yukon Delta Coast and Chukchi Sea coast. There will be occasional snow squalls producing low visibility. Winds will gradually diminish during the day Sunday as the storm weakens.
