| Detailed Description | * WHAT. Heavy snow and blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations of 7 to 11 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. * WHERE. Central Brooks Range. * WHEN. Until 4 PM AKDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Heavy snow continues from Atigun Pass south today, with an additional 4 to 7 inches of snow falling through tonight. Flow shifts to the northwest on Wednesday resulting in significant snow falling over the north facing slopes of the Brooks Range north of Atigun Pass. |
