Brief Description Flood Advisory
Detailed Description * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of southwest Florida, including the following county, Collier. * WHEN. Until 230 PM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1128 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy a feeder band from Major Hurricane Milton moving into the metro areas of Collier County. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected with this feeder band during the next hour or two. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. If the rainfall mounts increase more than forecast, then a Flash Flood Warning may be needed for this area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Naples, Marco Island, Golden Gate Estates, Golden Gate, Lely Resort, Naples Manor, East Naples, West Toll Gate On Alligator Alley, Vineyards, Belle Meade, North Naples, Marco Island Airport, Naples Park, Royal Palm Hammock, Lely, Fiddlers Creek, Rookery Bay Aquatic Preserve, Pelican Bay and Quail Creek Estate. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
