The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Illinois. Missouri. Iowa. Mississippi River at Keokuk LD19 affecting Clark, Hancock and Lee Counties. Mississippi River at Gregory Landing affecting Clark and Hancock Counties. Mississippi River at Le Claire LD14 affecting Scott and Rock Island Counties. Mississippi River at Bellevue LD12 affecting Jackson, Jo Daviess, Carroll and Clinton Counties. Mississippi River at Fulton LD13 affecting Whiteside, Carroll and Clinton Counties. Mississippi River at Ill. City LD16 affecting Muscatine and Rock Island Counties. Mississippi River at Muscatine affecting Mercer, Louisa, Muscatine and Rock Island Counties. Mississippi River at Keithsburg affecting Mercer, Louisa, Des Moines and Henderson Counties. Mississippi River at New Boston LD17 affecting Mercer and Louisa Counties. Mississippi River at Camanche affecting Whiteside, Scott, Rock Island and Clinton Counties. Mississippi River at Dubuque LD11 affecting Dubuque and Jo Daviess Counties. Major flooding is occurring. * WHERE. Mississippi River at Le Claire LD14. * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 14.5 feet, In Port Byron, water affects commercial buildings facing the river. In Le Claire, water affects the lowest section of Canal Shore Drive south of town. Most of First Street is under water in Rapids City. Water affects the lowest portions of 1st Avenue in Hampton. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 14.1 feet. - Recent Activity. The river continues to rise. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.4 feet Monday evening. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. |
