| Detailed Description | The National Weather Service in Quad Cities IA IL has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Illinois. Iowa. Mississippi River at New Boston LD17 affecting Louisa and Mercer Counties. Mississippi River at Keithsburg affecting Mercer, Louisa, Des Moines and Henderson Counties. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov/quadcities. The next statement will be issued by Tuesday afternoon at 1230 PM CDT. * WHAT. Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Mississippi River at Keithsburg. * WHEN. From Thursday morning until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 16.5 feet, Water affects houses on 1st Street in Oquawka. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 11:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage Thursday morning and continue rising to 16.7 feet Monday, July 01. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. |
