River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Maries River near Westphalia. * WHEN. Until late tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS. At 12.1 feet, The north end of County Road 521 begins flooding adjacent to the river near this height. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 9.6 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 11.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late this afternoon. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. |
