| Detailed Description | A low pressure system approaching from the west will bring snow and blowing snow to Baker Lake today, with blizzard conditions expected on Sunday. Snow is expected to begin late this morning in Baker Lake, with 5-10 cm expected by this evening. The snow will be accompanied by strong southerly winds gusting to 60 km/h giving poor visibility in snow and blowing snow. Winds diminish tonight as the low moves over the area, with a further 5 cm expected. Strong northwest winds gusting to 80 km/h will develop on Sunday as the low moves to the east, with blizzard conditions expected. The blizzard should taper off near the end of the day. ### Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.
