Big Sioux River at Akron affecting Union and Plymouth Counties. Big Sioux River above Hawarden affecting Union, Lincoln and Sioux Counties. Little Sioux River near Correctionville affecting Ida, Cherokee and Woodbury Counties. Little Sioux River At Linn Grove affecting Clay, Cherokee, Buena Vista and O'Brien Counties. At 8.0 feet, Minor flooding of pasture and agricultural land begins. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 8.2 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:45 AM CDT Monday was 8.5 feet. - Forecast. The river will fall below flood stage this evening briefly before perhaps rising to flood stage early Wednesday afternoon.
