Brief Description Excessive Heat Warning
Detailed Description * WHAT. Dangerously hot conditions. Afternoon temperatures 103 to 110 degrees. Major Heat Risk. * WHERE. A portion of south central Arizona including the Phoenix metropolitan area. * WHEN. Until 8 PM MST Tuesday. * IMPACTS. Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events. Overexposure can cause heat cramps and heat exhaustion to develop and, without intervention, can lead to heat stroke. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. In Maricopa County, call 2-1-1 for free heat relief assistance and other resources. http://www.maricopa.gov/heat
