Brief Description WIND WARNING
Detailed Description 3:15 PM MST Monday 23 September 2024 Wind Warning in effect for: Dempster Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring. Where: Near the Richardson Mountains. When: Now until early this evening. What: Easterly winds of 80 gusting to 100 km/h. Remarks: A low pressure centre over the Gulf of Alaska is bringing strong easterly winds in the Dempster near the Richardson Mountains. The winds will ease early this evening. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds. Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
