Brief Description Flood Watch
Detailed Description * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE. A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Granville, Halifax, Person, Vance and Warren. * WHEN. Through this evening. * IMPACTS. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Areas within the watch received 2 to 4 inches of rainfall last night. Additionally, a line of showers and storms is expected to develop this afternoon and early evening. Rainfall rates may exceed 2 inches per hour, resulting in possible flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
