Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE. Coldwater River at Marks. * WHEN. Until early Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 39.5 feet, Flooding is occurring around Marks and in low-lying farmland in Quitman County. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 39.5 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:00 AM CDT Saturday was 39.8 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 39.5 feet this afternoon.
