UPDATE: Local river gages continue to rise, with further increases expected through the morning. No additional rainfall is expected. Heavy rain, over a large area, has fallen in Saunders County, specifically around Prague and north of Malmo. The runoff from this rain will likely cause significant rises along Wahoo, Cottonwood, Duck, and Sand Creeks. It is possible the resulting flooding leads to water over several roads, including Highway 92 west of Wahoo and Highway 66 near Ithaca. In addition, several county roads near these creeks may flood. * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. A portion of east central Nebraska, including the following county, Saunders. * WHEN. Until 500 PM CDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 817 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - For Wahoo Creek at Wahoo: At 12:15am the stage was 18.74 feet. Flood Stage is 21.0 feet. . For Wahoo Creek at Ithaca: At 7:15am the stage was 14.26 feet. Flood Stage is 19.0 feet.
