| Detailed Description | Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and increased in duration for the following rivers in Texas. West Fork Trinity River Near Boyd affecting Wise County. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE. West Fork Trinity River near Boyd. * WHEN. From this afternoon until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 20.0 feet, Moderate flooding along the river is expected. Farm and ranch lands adjacent to the river will flood, as well as several rural roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1:15 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 16.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - Forecast. The river will rise to 19.6 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall early tomorrow afternoon. It will rise to 20.3 feet Friday morning. It will then fall again but remain above flood stage. |
