| Detailed Description | The Flood Watch continues for the following rivers in Oklahoma. North Canadian River near Seiling affecting Major, Woodward, Blaine and Dewey Counties. . The Flood Watch is replaced by a River Flood Warning for the following rivers in Oklahoma. North Canadian River near Watonga affecting Canadian and Blaine Counties. * WHAT. Flooding is possible. * WHERE. North Canadian River near Seiling. * WHEN. From late Friday night to Saturday morning. * IMPACTS. At 11.0 feet, Croplands. pastures. oil wells. and rural roads are flooded. Areas affected extend from the southwest corner of Major County. downstream to the headwaters of Canton Lake in Dewey County. Cattle and other property should be relocated to places which are higher than nearby river banks. to avoid being isolated for several hours by water in side channels. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 6:00 PM CST Thursday the stage was 4.4 feet. - Forecast. Flood stage may be reached early Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood |
