| Detailed Description | 1:49 AM EDT Sunday 28 April 2024 Blizzard Warning in effect for: Sanirajak Blizzard conditions will redevelop at Sanirajak as Sunday morning approaches. Following a brief lull Saturday night, a strong low pressure system over Foxe Basin will produce strong northerly winds, producing reduced visibilities in blowing snow early Sunday morning. The blizzard will ease by Sunday evening as winds diminish. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Protect yourself from wind, cold and disorientation by staying sheltered, indoors or with your vehicle. Blizzard warnings are issued when widespread reduced visibilities of 400 metres or less are expected for at least 6 hours.
