Detailed Description |
* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. Portions of northwest Arkansas, including the following counties, Crawford and Washington AR and Oklahoma, including the following counties, Adair, Cherokee, Haskell, McIntosh, Muskogee, Sequoyah and Wagoner. * WHEN. Until 345 PM CDT. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 948 AM CDT, An axis of heavy rainfall set up over portions of northeast Oklahoma into northwest Arkansas this morning. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 3 and 8 inches of rain have fallen since midnight. Although rain rates have fallen recently, areal flooding of low-lying areas and smaller creeks and streams is likely to continue thru the day. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Muskogee. Sallisaw. Stilwell. Stigler. Cedarville. Natural Dam. Fort Gibson. Muldrow. Checotah. Roland. Haskell. Warner. Vian. Gore. Porum. Webbers Falls. Whitefield. Oktaha. Gans.
