| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in North Carolina. South Carolina. Lumber River Near Lumberton affecting Robeson County. Lumber River 1 SE Nichols affecting Dillon, Marion and Horry Counties. Little Pee Dee River At Galivants Ferry affecting Marion and Horry Counties. Waccamaw River At Conway affecting Horry County. . The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in South Carolina. North Carolina. Waccamaw River near Longs affecting Brunswick, Columbus and Horry Counties. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Little Pee Dee River at Galivants Ferry. * WHEN. Until early Sunday morning. * IMPACTS. At 11.0 feet, Flood waters will continue to rise in the Fork Retch community located near Nichols. Flood waters will begin to affect some homes at Fork Retch. Swampland flooding will increase. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:00 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 10.1 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Saturday afternoon and continue falling to 8.7 feet Sunday evening. Additional rain beyond 48 hours may cause higher rises. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - Flood History.
