Rainfall amounts of 4 to 6 inches were common over a large area with some areas reporting over 7 inches of rain or more. The runoff from this rain could potentially bring the Missouri River, below Gavins Point Dam, well into flood stage. More rain occurred last night, only worsening the situation.
