| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in North Carolina. Neuse River At Kinston affecting Jones and Lenoir Counties. For the Neuse River. including Kinston. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Neuse River at Kinston. * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 18.0 feet, Widespread lowland flooding adjacent to the river. Water approaches some secondary roads over the southeast sections of Kinston. Campgrounds and picnic areas at the Nature Center in Kinston are inundated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:15 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 17.0 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:15 AM EDT Saturday was 17.2 feet. - Forecast.
