Brief Description SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT
Detailed Description 4:53 PM ADT Thursday 11 July 2024 Special Weather Statement in effect for: Inverness County - Mabou and north Potential for significant rainfall and heavy downpours continuing this evening. Locations: Western half of Cape Breton Island. Time span: today. Remarks: A weather system feeding on moisture from remnants of Beryl will continue to affect the province today. Conditions may change rapidly over short distances, with heavy, torrential downpours possible as heavier rain begins to move back into Cape Breton this evening. Precipitation will taper off late overnight. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
