Northerly wind gusts of 70 km/h. Timing: Tonight through Wednesday. Discussion: Heavy rain is expected to begin tonight as a strong low pressure system moves into the area. The heavy rain will become mixed with or change to snow on Wednesday, with a few centimetres of snowfall accumulation possible by Thursday morning. In addition, strong northerly winds gusting up to 70 km/h will develop Wednesday morning and continue through Wednesday evening. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.
