| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Minnesota River at Henderson MN19 affecting Scott, Le Sueur and Sibley Counties. South Fork Crow River below Mayer affecting Carver County. Mississippi River at Red Wing affecting Pierce, Pepin and Goodhue Counties. Mississippi River at St. Paul affecting Dakota, Ramsey and Washington Counties. Mississippi River near Hastings L/D 2 (COE) affecting Dakota, Pierce and Washington Counties. St Croix River at Stillwater affecting Washington, Pierce and St. Croix Counties. Cannon River at Northfield affecting Rice and Dakota Counties. . The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Minnesota River at Morton affecting Redwood and Renville Counties. Cottonwood River at New Ulm affecting Brown County. Cottonwood River Above Springfield affecting Brown County. Minnesota River at Mankato affecting Nicollet and Blue Earth Counties. Minnesota River at New Ulm affecting Brown, Nicollet and Blue Earth Counties. Minnesota River at Savage affecting Hennepin, Dakota, Scott and Carver Counties. Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Scott, Carver and Sibley Counties. South Fork Crow River at Delano affecting Wright and Hennepin Counties. Crow River at Rockford affecting Wright and Hennepin Counties. Mississippi River at Red Wing L/D 3 affecting Pierce and Goodhue Counties. Redwood River near Redwood Falls affecting Redwood County. .The weather pattern remains active this week. The first round of precipitation arrives Monday night into Tuesday. This impact will certainly slow river level decline. The second round arrives on Thursday and will be the main focus with the potential for a widespread half inch to and inch of rain likely. While no additional rises are forecast with the first round, the second round may lead to some brief rises and further restart the clock for the recession. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Crow River at Rockford. * WHEN. Until early Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 10.0 feet, Low lying areas and some roads along the river begin to experience flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1100 AM CDT Monday, the stage was 10.7 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 1100 AM CDT Monday was 10.8 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow evening and continue falling to 8.0 feet Monday, July 08. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood History. This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.6 feet on 10/12/2019. |
