Brief Description Flood Warning
Detailed Description The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa. Cedar River at Cedar Falls affecting Black Hawk County. Shell Rock River at Shell Rock affecting Butler, Bremer and Black Hawk Counties. Des Moines River at Fort Dodge affecting Webster County. West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt affecting Humboldt County. West Fork Des Moines River at Emmetsburg affecting Palo Alto and Pocahontas Counties. West Fork Des Moines River at Estherville affecting Emmet County. East Fork Des Moines River near Algona affecting Kossuth and Humboldt Counties. * WHAT. Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE. The West Fork Des Moines River at Emmetsburg, or from near Graettinger to Cylinder Creek near West Bend. * WHEN. Until further notice. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 2:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 13.2 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to continue to slowly fall but remain in moderate flood stage through Saturday. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
