| Detailed Description | The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Cottonwood River at New Ulm affecting Brown County. Minnesota River at Mankato affecting Blue Earth and Nicollet Counties. Minnesota River at New Ulm affecting Nicollet, Blue Earth and Brown Counties. Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties. Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Lac qui Parle, Yellow Medicine and Chippewa Counties. Minnesota River at Savage affecting Hennepin, Carver, Scott and Dakota Counties. Minnesota River at Henderson MN19 affecting Sibley, Le Sueur and Scott Counties. Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Sibley, Carver and Scott Counties. Crow River at Rockford affecting Hennepin and Wright Counties. Mississippi River at Red Wing L/D 3 affecting Goodhue and Pierce Counties. Mississippi River near Hastings L/D 2 (COE) affecting Washington, Dakota and Pierce Counties. . The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Cottonwood River Above Springfield affecting Brown County. South Fork Crow River at Delano affecting Hennepin and Wright Counties. South Fork Crow River below Mayer affecting Carver County. Mississippi River at Red Wing affecting Pepin, Goodhue and Pierce Counties. Mississippi River at St. Paul affecting Washington, Dakota and Ramsey Counties. St Croix River at Stillwater affecting Washington, St. Croix and Pierce Counties. Redwood River near Redwood Falls affecting Redwood County. .Most locations along the Minnesota have crested. Locations on the Mississippi will reach crest this weekend. River levels are expected to gradually fall throughout the next several days. Another round of showers and storms Monday night into Tuesday with bring an additional 1 to 2 inches by mid-week. This may extend river level recession times across both rivers. * WHAT. Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Minnesota River at Morton. * WHEN. Until Saturday, July 06. * IMPACTS. At 23.0 feet, Riverside Rd and Front Street flooded in North Redwood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1000 AM CDT Saturday, the stage was 23.2 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 1000 AM CDT Saturday was 23.3 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.2 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday afternoon. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet. - Flood History. This crest compares to a previous crest of 23.0 feet on 10/12/2018. |
