Brief Description Special Weather Statement
Detailed Description Dry conditions and breezy winds will lead to near critical fire weather conditions today. Southwesterly winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts of 20 to 30 mph are forecast for this afternoon. Minimum relative humidity values of 25 to 30 percent are also expected. Together, these conditions could lead to the rapid spread of fires. A cold front will move from northeast to southeast across the area from late this morning through early evening. Winds will turn northwesterly behind the cold front. Check burning restrictions and fire danger before burning.
