Brief Description RAINFALL WARNING
Detailed Description 4:47 AM EDT Saturday 15 June 2024 Rainfall Warning in effect for: Kimmirut Rain, at times heavy, is expected. Rainfall totals are expected to reach 25-30 mm by Saturday evening. A low pressure system approaching southern Baffin Island is bringing heavy rainfall to the community of Kimmirut. Rain is expected to continue through the day Saturday before gradually tapering off in the evening and changing to snow overnight Saturday into Sunday morning. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Consider moving valuable items to higher levels. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
