Brief Description Flood Warning
Detailed Description The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Oregon. Silvies River Near Burns affecting Harney County. .Warm temperatures will melt snowpack and increase river flows. For the Silvies River. including Burns. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Silvies River near Burns. * WHEN. From this morning to late Friday morning. * IMPACTS. At 12.0 feet, Flooding of fields will occur in the Burns area. Water will encroach on some private properties along North Broadway Avenue, Foley Road, and Stancliff Road. Water will be close to flowing on to Highway 20 at the Silvies River Bridge. Low spots in the Burns RV Park may be impacted. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 2:00 AM PDT Tuesday the stage was 11.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.5 feet. - Forecast. The river will oscillate around flood stage with a maximum value of 12.5 feet tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood History.
